Crash test
The shutter did not sustain any damage. In case of minor collisions, e.g. from
manoeuvring vehicles, the shutter curtain generally springs back into its
original position.
In this crash test a foklift truck was driven into the middle of a 4800 mm wide
shutter curtain up to its flexibility limit.
Innovative profile technology
As a result, Hormann has decisively improved the Decotherm® rolling shutter
in virtually all aspects. As regards the material and the profile geometry, the
roll-up action, the surface protection and above all the attractive
aesthetics.
The Galfan coating
Makes the shutter exceptionally resistant to weathering.
It offers a resistant to corrosion that is 2 ½ times higher than that of
galvanized steel.
The (full hard special steel)
Affords the shutter greater resistance against damage during transit,
installation and operation.
Optimized profile geometry
with a new, curvated outer surface and improved hinge technology, for an even
roll-up action.
