Industrial High Tolerance Floors

Our Company is one of the leading companies that is well established for design & execution of High Quality Industrial Floors to any required tolerance. This is achieved by using high quality, high controlled reinforced concrete slabs. In addition to High Tolerance Concrete Floor slabs, we are also well established in polymer floor execution especially epoxy floors (painting, self- leveling or epoxy mortars) to a very high degree of accuracy & quality.

Advantages of Egybrit High Tolerance Floor

1. High Tolerance Floors to any specified accuracy
The floor surface is the part of the structure subject to the greater use & abuse. A properly selected floor surface will ensure a safe uninterrupted use off the floor, Keep maintenance costs at a minimum and protect the total floor investment. Floor surface is required to be flat and level with permissible degree of departure from ideal.
The flatness is normally described in one of the following ways:

A) Tolerance: (As in the British Standard Code of Practice) Where flatness is described as a tolerance it is usually expressed i.e. ± 3mm in 3 meters.

B) Local Tolerance: Specific distance allowed under a straightedge of restricted length. It can be expressed as variation in the level of 3.0mm in 1500mm and is usually applied in any direction of the floor surface. The gap is not to exceed 3.0mm at any point within the specified length.

C) Rate of Change or Slope: Flatness is generally expressed in the form of a rate of change.
  • An accepted rate of change in floors for production area is generally 1:300mm.
  • An accepted rate of change on a narrow aisle - storing system is generally 1:500mm.

2. Patent INGRAN Adjustable Shuttering System.
It is a unique patented system of shuttering most essential in producing Concrete floors with a level tolerance compatible with that required for production areas and for narrow aisle storage systems.
The INGRAN shutter is of all-steel construction machined to the highestEngineering tolerances, and designed to be adjustable to meet the most accurate of levels. The shutter can be leveled to within 1mm, even after casting of concrete, Which can not be achieved in any other type of forms providing a flatness That can rarely be achieved without using Our Unique Adjustable Element. Our forms are adapted to cast slabs 20cm or more. Other forms could be used with the same technique to cast slabs from less than 15cm.

3. Smooth, hard wearing, non-dusting surface:
Our special and unique technique of casting, screeding and finishing of concrete surface ensures a very good surface compaction in addition to its smoothness (marble tough).
This is achieved by power-floating, power-troweling and hand troweling Using different blades and different hand trowels proportionate to concrete hardness. This will reflect on gaining the hard resistance for wear, consequently non-dusting surface easily cleaned and maintained.

4. Monolithic Construction:
The above mentioned shutters have been designed so that structural slabs can be carried out as a single-coarse monolithic floor and yet to be finished to the highest degree of accuracy. Slabs are laid in "Long Strip" method allowing large areas of floor slab to be speedily completed and bringing number and dimensions of the joints in whole slab to a minimum. This procedure will assure positions of floor maintenance which are normally joints positions.
