Dock shelters and Door seals for energy economy Realising the advantages
of installing dock shelters around bay openings - considerable energy saving,
improved working conditions and protection of goods - is only the first step
towards economic vehicle handling. Situations differ so hafa has a range of six
different models of dock shelters/door seals. Only the right equipment for the
application will give the full economic advantages. The model TL is an
extremely hard-wearing dock shelter, with overlapping, steel-reinforced rubber
flaps. The model TPK has been designed for extreme flexibility. Both side
frames as well as the roof section push back when vehicles do not dock
accurately. The front and rear frames of this new design are not rigidly
connected, but linked by either bracing arms or springs which allow lateral
deflection of the side frames. The new Hafa - "roof " is also
designed to lift should vehicles be raised within the shelter. Excellent
insulation is the main feature of the inflatable Model TB Thermo Airbag door
seal. The Models TW & TWP are ideal for applications where goods are mainly
non-palletised and vehicles of a uniform size. Hafa loading tunnels, Models
VTB/L make unprotected outside ramps weather-proof. Methods of fitting dock
shelters and door seals vary according to the type of building. |
