Mobile Loading Ramps and Platforms for ground level handling
The relatively low weight coupled with a high load capacity of 6 tonnes -
achieved with specific regard to light weight construction principles - makes
the Hafa-loading ramp, model SSR/P, and the loading platform, model SLB, a
superior system whenever rail wagons, lorries or containers need to be loaded
by fork lift from ground level. The steel construction of the ramp consists of
large channel sections with box-sections welded between them on to which
anti-slip wheel grips are slotted. The ramp is supplied as model SSR without or
as model SSRP with a front horizontal section which allows the last pallets to
be easily accessed when vehicles are loaded to the rear doors. The overall
length is between 9800 and 12000 mm depending upon model. Two jacks lift the
ramp to the level of the fork lift for manoeuvring. The clear width of the ramp
is 2000 mm. The normal climbing capacity of engine driven fork lifts is more
than is required for any of the ramp sizes offered. Where space is restricted
the loading platform, SLB allows loading through right-angles when used in
combination with the loading ramp. Each side of the loading platform can be
fitted with hafa-levellers as well as kick plates or railing to suit the
application. The many possible combinations of these two products offers the
operator an optimal system for loading from ground level. |
