Systematic safety: KESO-2000 S
The superiority of the KESO-2000 S locking system is shown by its highly
sophisticated mechanism. Up to 15 pairs of hardened steel pin tumblers are
arranged in 3 rows, with 36 different patterns available for lock
installations.
Together with the perfect precision of the KESO system, the unique stepped
drilling technique employed, guarantees excellent protection against copying
and permits clearly defined limits in the arrangement of locking systems.
The KESO-2000 S system embraces a comprehensive range of lock cylinders for
complete systems and individual locks. Cylinders are shaped in standard
Europrofile and can be installed in all commercial types of lockcase.
For high-risk external and internal doors, we recommend installing the newly
developed KESO cylinder.
KESO lock cylinder maximum security for high-risk
doors
Although break-in methods are becoming increasingly brutal and more and more
professional, burglars trying to attack a KESO cylinder are faced with an
extremely tough task. The new KESO lock cylinder is made of chrome nickel
steel, which is far stronger and takes far longer to break than the brass
material used for most conventional cylinders. The newly designed KESO inner
cylinder retaining flange is turned from solid rod. In combination with the
stainless steel connecting bar this guarantees reliable protection against
unauthorised removal.
An additional flange gives the rotor the necessary stability. The KESO lock
cylinder incorporates multiple protection against drilling. This is prevented
by the hardened steel pin tumblers as well as an additional anti-drilling
plate.
The chrome nickel steel lock cylinder is divided into three parts (2 housing
with stainless steel connecting bar). Apart from high security, this gives
economic advantages : the cylinder (basic length 60 mm ) can be extended on a
modular basis.
Complete protection for high - risk external and internal
doors is only provided by a combination of :
- KESO high security lock cylinder.
- KESO cylinder safe (details available on request).
- Multi - point locking system.
Even the best security door furniture system offers limited protection against
today's increasingly sophisticated bread-in methods, if it is not installed
together with a high quality lock cylinder.
The extended anti-vandal pin within the KESO cylinder is incorporated into the
high-security door furniture backplate, thus preventing any longitudinal
movement of the cylinder. This makes it impossible to extract the cylinder by
force.
